LAZY FRIED RICE
Ingredients:
- Rice fresh or day old
- Veggies of your choosing
- Olive Oil/Butter
- Protein of your choice
- 2 eggs
Instructions:
Cook rice according to the instructions. Season your protein
(seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder,
Old bay (steak seasoning for beef ). Cook your meat (time
varies based upon protein choice). Set that aside when done.
In that same skillet add butter and vegetables.Let that cook
for 5 minutes. Add in your rice & soy sauce. Let cook for 3
minutes. Push rice and veggies to the side and scramble 2
eggs. Mix well and serve.
ROASTED POTATOES & SALMON
Ingredients:
- Potatoes
- Salmon
- Garlic (whole or pre-minced)
- Butter/Margarine
- Air Fryer
Instructions:
Season your salmon and potatoes (measure with your heart and ancestors).
Salmon: (Old Bay, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt (can be omitted based on need), Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning)
Potatoes: (garlic (minced), garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt (can be omitted based on need), black pepper, Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning, olive oil)
Preheat Air Fryer to 400 degrees (most airfryer come with a standing rack). Place your potatoes in the air fryer for 15 minutes. About 5 mins into cooking using the rack place your salmon on the tray. Cook for the last 10 minutes.
ONE PAN CHICKEN & RICE
Ingredients:
- Chicken (Chicken thighs are suggested, but the type/cut is your choice)
- Rice-a-Roni cheddar and broccoli
- Fresh/Frozen Broccoli (Optional)
Instructions:
Season the chicken how you like. Sear the chicken in a skillet with some butter (to help add a char). Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Remove the chicken from the skillet. Add the items from the Rice-a-Roni. Add water (just enough to cover the rice). Add the chicken on top of the rice. Add pats of butter. Add pan to oven for 30-45 minutes. In the last 10-15 minutes add your broccoli to the pan.
